CAMP DIRECTORS
Beth Calder:

Calder was a standout midfielder at Cornell University who helped the Big Red to back to back NCAA tournament appearances in 01’ and 02’ culminating in a Final Four appearance. Calder then served as a volunteer assistant at Cornell for the 2003 season. She then moved to NJ where she worked as a trainer and sports dietitian at the Parisi Speed School before joining the staff at Drexel University for the 2005-2006 campaign. Calder is currently the assistant coach at Regis University in Denver, CO where she is pursuing a doctorate in Physical Therapy.

Sarah Averson:

A former standout attacker at Cornell University, Averson led the Big Red to consecutive NCAA tournament appearances including a Final Four berth and 2 ECAC championships. Averson was a second team All-American selection in 2002 and a first team All-American in 2003. Sarah was twice named the MVP of the ECAC tournament in 2000 and 2003. After 3 years with Brine, Sarah has taken over the lacrosse program at Regis University in Denver, CO. She led the rangers to their first winning season in program history. She looks forward to bringing the program at Regis to national prominence.

CAMP STAFF:

Sarah Anderson:

A former attacker at Cornell University, Anderson was a starter for both the 2001 and 2002 NCAA tournament appearances. An all Ivy League selection in 2002, Anderson graduated in 2003 with a degree in Policy Analysis and Management. Anderson is the head coach for St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale.

Sarah Burlingame:
Burlingame was an incredible defensive leader and visionary for the Cornell Big Red. She captained the team to their first ever NCAA tournament appearance in 2001, and set the tone for the success of the program in 2002. Following graduation, Burlingame moved to South Florida where she teaches and coaches the women’s lacrosse team at Jupiter High School in Jupiter, FL.

Lauren Ferrara:

Ferrara was a standout on the field hockey and lacrosse teams at Villanova University. She served as an assistant coach at Drexel University for two season while pursuing a masters degree in Education. At Drexel Lauren was instrumental in coaching the defensive unit to success. Lauren is currently coaching at Eastern High School in NJ where she is also a teacher.

Lyndsey Robinson:

Lyndsay Robinson, a two-year captain for the Big Red, enters her second season as an assistant coach. She will have responsibilities in all aspects of the program, from recruiting and practice planning to gameday preparation.

Robinson was a three-year starter who shifted from a midfielder to a mark-up defender during her career and excelled in both positions. She ended her four seasons with 103 ground balls, 54 draw controls and 45 caused turnovers, while starting more than 40 career games. Robinson was an honorable mention All-Ivy selection as a sophomore and helped lead Cornell to its first-ever Ivy championship in 2006 as a senior captain in 2006. After her senior year, Robinson was selected to compete in the North-South All-Star game.

Sarah Queener:

Sarah Queener took over the reigns of the women’s lacrosse program after a successful collegiate career at Yale University and made an immediate impact. In her first season, the team had its best record and qualified for the NCAA Championships for the first time. She was a four-year starter for the Bulldogs and was an important contributor during their 2003 Ivy League title as well as their NCAA tournament appearance. During her years at Yale, Queener scored 76 goals and recorded 66 assists, was a two-time All-Ivy pick, IWLCA All-American, and a North-South Senior All-Star.
